How do I charge an online booking no show?

If you are using the online booking deposit feature when a client makes an online booking with your salon, they use their credit card to confirm the appointment.  This not only secures the appointment for the client but also the cost of the appointment for the salon. You can charge a client "No Show" directly to their card.  This charge does not happen automatically if a client does not show up, you must make this charge.

    Step-by-step guide

    1. When your client makes an online booking, they agree to the terms & conditions outlined at time of booking and confirmation email. See Image.

    2. If the client does not turn up or cancels at the last minute, you can decide to charge that client or not. You simply, 1. leave the appointment as is on your appointment screen 2. Let the time bar lapse over the appointment  3. Highlight the appointment and click pay.
    3. Enter the amount you want to charge and click on charge. Their card is charged directly.

It is important to note that although the appointment is secured by credit card at the time of booking online, there is no guarantee that the full amount can be charged on the date that the service is booked for. This may be due to insufficient funds or other card errors. This does not, however, happen very often and you may retry charging the card several times until the payment is successful.
